Pike's Peak or Bust

In 1858, two young men (Esau and Orlando) leave Illinois and embark on a grueling, 1,100-mile journey west. One pushes a wheelbarrow marked with the slogan “Pike’s Peak or Bust”; the other leads a cow and their dog, Frisk. The story is one of adventure, hardship, and the pioneer drive toward the promise of the West: the ambition, the trials, and what people were willing to endure in the name of opportunity.
